About Us
Hi! My name is Ronda Bragg. I have been married to my husband Jessie for 14 years and we have two gorgeous red heads Jessica and Tyler lol. Jessie and I basically grew up outside of Cleveland, Ohio. We moved to Palestine, WV in 2002 and we love it! Our parents made the mistake of telling both of us growing up "You can have as many pets as you want when you live on your own". Well we have totally done that lol. Our love for animals is great! We of course raise rabbits and not for eating! We also have all of our dogs, cats, parrots, a goat and a deer that have been bottle fed, and our chickens and guineas! All of this on a cozy 2 acres at the top of a hill all by ourselves! What a change from city life, but loving every minute of it!
Our daughter Jessica is 13 and Tyler our son is 10. They have done great with helping with our little farm! Sometimes they don't always like it lol, but kids will be kids! Jessica did find out however that her hard work paid off at Nationals when she placed two of her rabbits! So now she is at it again with what to try and show for next year already! Tyler is a typical boy, he does what he has to do so he can play his video games. He is slowly showing a interest in the rabbits now, especially since his sister just brought home some ribbons to show off lol.
Jessica is the one who found the "Lionhead Rabbit" on the internet. We thought it was the cutest thing ever! And of course we had to do some research and find more out about them. We ended up with our first one, he is a Sable Point Marten named Hershey. Our love for them grew from there when everyone was coming over and wanting to know where they could get one! Than we have ventured to some other breeds as well, my second favorite is the Holland Lops for their personality! I took on the Lionlop project for a challenge. I think creating something from scratch basically and having our barn name on it will be great! Jessica fell in love with the English Angora's and has kept up well with the pair she has had! I am very proud of her for putting all that time into them! All of the sales for the Angora's goes right to her. And even than she is not selfish, she goes to Walmart and buys brushes and treats for them all! Jessie my husband is great for putting up with us all lol. But even he will tell you he has his favorite bunnies lol.
We are honest breeders! If there are any flaws that we know of or anything in the background of a rabbit that would alter results and we are "knowing" of this it will be mentioned on our rabbits. We love to help others in any way we can!
